Placing
an Order for Images
If
you wish to order any of our images things will go smoother if you
follow these simple steps.
1
Locate the image or images
that you want using the alphabetic listings.
2 Note down the name
of the species (the name in bold-faced
blue writing : e.g.
Hakea leucoptera subsp. leucoptera)
3 Note
the image code (the numbers and
letters in red writing : e.g.
1564APGF)
4 Determine
the size of the image that you
require.

Small:
300 x 225 to 400 x 300 pixels (for use in web pages.) [MORE]

Medium: 800 x 600 pixels
(used
principally for A4 folder brochures, A2 or A1 posters
where many pictures are required and small field guides and handbooks.)

Intermediate:
1600 x 1200 pixels (used
principally for half-page prints in reference books, encyclopaedias,
medium-format field guides and school text books.)

Large:
2400 x 1800 to 3000 x 2250 pixels (used
principally for full-page prints in reference books, magazines
and encyclopaedias or covers for medium-format

Determine how you wish to use the images
(i.e. book, brochure, report, signs, web site etc) and how
many copies there will be.
