These pictures are mostly 2400 x
1800 to 3000 x 2100 pixels in size and are suitable for printed publications where a
larger image is required.
Print Size
Most printed publications reproduce
images at 250 to 300 dpi (dots per inch). This means that the
images could be reproduced at a size of up to:
- 25 x 18 cm (10 x 7 inches) if they are printed at 300 dpi or
- 30 x 21 cm (12 x 8.4 inches)
if printed at 250 dpi.
Print Products
Images of this size have been used
principally for full-page prints in reference books, magazines
and encyclopaedias or covers for medium-format
